New Book

The EMU Library received a new book to our collection.Ida McKinley : the turn-of-the-century first lady through war, assassination, and secret disability / Carl Sferrazza Anthony. Kent, Ohio : The Kent State University Press, [2013] 3rd Level E711.95 .A57 2013 Ida McKinley, the wife of William McKinley, president of the United States from 1897 to his assassination in 1901, suffered from epilepsy. This is a riveting biography.

Biography

I have a Master’s degree in Library Science from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and a Specialist’s degree in Library Services to Special Populations from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. In December, 2006, I completed an online course in Improving Library Services to People with Disabilities in 2012. I have been a librarian for 20 years.I have been at Eastern since 1995 and am now the Marketing and Special Needs Librarian.

Library Services for People with Disabilities

The EMU Library values free access to information, intellectual freedom, accessibility for all users, and privacy of information use. The Library supports all users, including People with Disabilities Library Services for People with Disabilities
